After 15+ years navigating complex social service systems for my clients, I founded Haan Group LLC in September 2022 and spent the last 4+ years mastering the insurance landscape. I didn't just change careers — I brought a decade and a half of client-first advocacy into the insurance world.
Those 4+ years as an independent broker have been built on real experience: multiple enrollment cycles, shifting markets, and hundreds of client plans across Medicare, ACA, and ancillary coverage. Advocacy doesn't change — only the subject matter does.
As an independent broker, I work with a wide range of carriers — Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, ACA Marketplace, life insurance, annuities, dental, vision, hearing, hospital indemnity, and more. Licensed in multiple states.

Registered Social Security Analyst — a credential most people have never heard of.
As a certified RSSA, I am trained specifically in Social Security rules, benefit calculations, and claiming strategies. This goes far beyond what most financial advisors or insurance professionals cover — and the difference between a well-planned strategy and a poorly timed claim can exceed $100,000 in lifetime benefits for a married couple.
RSSA services cover when to claim, spousal and survivor benefit strategies, divorced-spouse rights, SSDI transition planning, and how Social Security coordinates with Medicare and other retirement income.
Note on fees: Unlike insurance services — where I am paid a federally regulated commission by the carriers at no cost to you — RSSA / Social Security analysis is a fee-based professional service, priced per person or per couple. This keeps the advice completely independent of any product or enrollment.

Once you are enrolled, I become your agent — and I stay your agent as long as you come through me. If you ever want to switch plans, call me first. I handle that enrollment too, which means you keep the same person in your corner and nothing falls through the cracks.
